A Whole New World - Aladdin, Yamaha Electone D-Deck - Dimitris Leontaris
"A Whole New World" is the signature song from Disney's 1992 film Aladdin, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. It describes Aladdin showing the confined princess, Jasmine, a life of freedom and the pair's acknowledgment of their love for each other while riding on a magic carpet.
I believe that Aladdin has one of the most amazing music ever composed for Disney films. This electone version is very easy but so powerful at the same time. I really enjoyed it!

This is probably one of the most popular theme songs ever made. It was composed for the film "Titanic" (1997) by James Horner and performed by Celine Dion. It is considered Dion's signature song, too. The electone version is not that difficult but still, it is full of emotions such as sadness for the famous wreck. In my opinion, John Williams is one of the best film-music composers of all times. "Jaws" theme is a very different and interesting theme for the movie of the same name back in1975. I believe that this theme is full of mystery and danger and despite of the fact that it is not as majestic as some other productions of his, it is still a great composition. @@muse10197 most of the songs come from certain books which include both scores and registration data. I have done many arrangements on my own so far but this particular one is ready. I write the name of the book at the end of the description. 😊

Hi. You're right but I usually keep the titles as shown on the books and this particular score for some reason refers to "Gonna fly now" as "Theme from Rocky". Despite that, I hope you enjoyed the video 😊

Because I think you missed the bass clef on your upper keyboard on the section E of first 4 bars (Memory 12). I would like to listen to your performance with the bass clef version someday.

My score was really blurry at that part and I could definitely understand that something was wrong but I thought that this was the way the transcription is. I noticed the bass clef a couple of months after I uploaded this video and I decided to leave it as it was because I liked the musicality of my performance. I don't think that I will make a new video 🥴

These videos are excellent, love you excellent performance and the music, but may ask you questions. My colleage thinks he can purchase a D-Deck and just play the D-Deck and it will give the same results, But I have explained to him that you are obviously programming and multi tracking? So can you explain, are you using the D-Deck to program your composition or a external Daw. Are all the voices we hear are within the D-Deck. Are you using any Mp3 playback or is it all midi. I can see the registrations jumping is this also programed, as I presume that using the foot switch will only move them on, or can this be programed, and to repond to the footswich. Thanks for you help,.
Hey.. thank you very much for your comment... Look, these newer electones are very powerful machines and can produce amazing sound samples on their own. I do not use any external devices and there is a huge variety of preprogrammed data for all books. You can also make your own registrations and programming. But can your friend play the electone? I mean the pedalboard is necessary for the bass sounds while playing. Changing the registrations can automatically be done as well.

@@dimileo That was my goal, too, and usually I succeed. But not always. (I don't read sheet music, I play everything by ear). At least I can often distract people from my often sloppy playing by singing!
